It wasn’t just VIP’s and celebrities that turned out in force to celebrate the launch of The Wreck My Dress Experience last Thursday (2nd May). Brands and businesses also showed their support, taking to the red carpet among a host of familiar faces.
Whether through food and drink, products and services or offering items for the event goodie bags, businesses locally and also further afield, ensured they had full exposure in an event that saw almost 200 celebrity and VIP guests, as well as mass media attention.
Among the brands were Hatterrall Ridge Mineral Water, Cascade, Nadine Merabi, PS2 Print, Bytes Software Services, Xerox and Light The Way.
Goodie bags were gratefully received by guests. The branded bags included a HD Brows gift, Molton Brown mini-bags, a tasty cupcake from Cupcakes and Co, a little red book of treats from The Trafford Centre and a tasty surprise from the Marriott Hotel – Worsley Park.
Bourjois and Cassie Lomas Makeup Academy also made large contributions to the event, particularly in the very busy makeup room!
Greenalls Gin, a business started in the North West, provided the vital ingredient for the official Wreck My Dress Experience Cocktail – a fruity, summery mix using their ‘Bloom’ variety of gin.
Cheshire restaurant The Belle Epoque provided sumptuous canapés, whilst Escapade Bars provided welcome prosecco for thirsty arrivals. The bar was beautifully presented, decorated with floral arrangements by David Wayman of Spinningfields.
Press Officer for the event Mark Hayward exclaimed ‘It has been really great to see the variety of brands that have supported The Wreck My Dress Experience launch party. The people behind the brands have all acknowledged the huge marketing opportunity here, and have been able to take advantage of brand exposure whether it be in goodie bags, the red carpet brand boards or through product placement’.
The Wreck My Dress Experience is also delighted to support Genesis Breast Cancer Prevention.
